What's for dinner? That's what students in Mrs. Marsh's 7th grade Science classes have been studying. They have been learning about food chains, food webs, and energy pyramids during their unit on ecosystems. They created and designed a food chain diagram on a paper plate. How appropriate!

Today, Ms. Upton’s students kicked off their Character Scout Reports, diving into our new novel to uncover important details about the story’s characters. Acting like literary detectives, students explored the text to identify the main character’s key traits and supported their ideas with strong textual evidence. They also made thoughtful inferences about what these clues might reveal about the characters and how they may develop as the story unfolds. It was an exciting start to our journey into the novel! 📚✨

Mrs. Rogers 7th Grade Math class were reviewing for their upcoming math test on simplifying expressions by completing a scavenger hunt around the classroom. Students were engaged and more excited to work on these problems when they got to move around and get the instant gratification of finding their correct answers and then “hunting” around the room to find their next question.
