For any student planning to participate in sports next school year, you may pick up a physical form from the front office.
Have you heard? Grease is the word! Grease: The School Version is coming to the EPAC today, April 25th through Saturday, April 27th. Show times are today, April 25th and Friday, April 26th at 6:30 and Saturday, April 27th at 3. Admission is $8 and tickets will be sold at the door. Come support your fellow Vikings. You’re the One That We Want – to see there!
To all students signed up to participate in the Miss Viking Pageant, Freshman and Sophomore contestants will have practice MONDAY after school in the EPAC from 3:45-5 pm; Juniors and Seniors will have practice on TUESDAY after school in the EPAC from 3:45- 5 pm and there will be a practice FOR ALL CONTESTANTS on Wednesday after school in the EPAC from 3:45-5:30 pm. Please make sure you are keeping up with all the information that has been posted in Google Classroom. See Ms. Branham if you have any questions!
The dance showcase, Summer Vibes, will be held next Thursday and Friday at 6:30 pm in the EPAC. Cost to attend is $5.00. Please come out and support the seventh through twelfth grade students as they dance the night away!
The Miss Viking pageant will be held Saturday, May 4th at 3:00 pm in the Ellis Performing Arts Center. Come and see who will be crowned our next Miss Viking! Cost to attend is $5.00.
Viking Cheer tryouts will take place for rising 7th through 12th graders the week of May 20th in the gym after school. Material for tryouts will be taught Monday through Wednesday and in person tryouts will take place on Thursday and Friday of that week. You must have a current physical on file to participate. See Ms. Branham with any questions!
The Google Classroom page is open for ANY female student in grades 6th - 11th to join that is interested in playing volleyball next year. This Google Classroom page is where female athletes will be notified about conditioning, physicals, tryout dates and all things volleyball related. Please see Coach Anderson, Marsh or Jordan for the code.
Seniors! Be sure to look at scholarships on the LHS counseling website. There are several due dates coming and more updates are occurring this weekend.
Would you like to share your memories with the LHS staff and students? The Shall Go staff asks all seniors to fill out the Senior Will and Testament Google Form on their Class Of page on Google Classroom. Their Will and Testaments will be printed in this year’s last issue of the school newspaper. Senior Will and Testaments are due by April 26th.
