The halls of Latta High School were filled with pink on Wednesday, October 21, as students and staff came together to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a special Pink Out Day!
Our Vikings are proudly wearing pink to show their support for those who have been affected by breast cancer and to help raise awareness about this important cause.
Each October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month serves as a reminder of the importance of early detection, continued research, and supporting those who are battling breast cancer, celebrating their recovery, or remembering loved ones who have lost their lives to the disease.
Pink Out Day was a great opportunity for our students and staff to come together for a meaningful cause while showing off their Viking spirit! From pink shirts to pink accessories, our school community found ways to participate and show its support.
A big thank you goes out to all of our students and staff who helped turn LHS pink today! We are proud of our Vikings for coming together to spread awareness and show support for those affected by breast cancer.
Way to go, Vikings!
