On Tuesday, April 21st, LHS students, along with LMS students and staff members, read poems they wrote and submitted at the first annual Viking Poetry Slam! This event, in honor of National Poetry Month, was sponsored by Mr. McInnis, a seventh grade ELA teacher at LMS. Everyone did an amazing job with their beautiful poetry! We are hoping this event will become an annual tradition.
