Flyer for The Pack performing in the EPAC July 19, 2025 at 6:30. Admission is free and it is open to the public. Doors open at 6:00, first come, first served.

The Latta Schools Educational Foundation and CareSouth Carolina will sponsor The Pack at the Ellis Performing Arts Center on Saturday, July 19 at 6:30 p.m.

The Pack is a group of four vocalists, along with the band, consisting of 1 accompanist, 1 bass player, and 1 drummer.  They have performed often at The Newberry Opera House, among many other places.  John Bush, Terrance Henderson, Johnathan Jackson, and Jason Stokes continue the philosophy of the 1950’s and 60’s The Rat Pack…sing a little, drink a little, and have a whole lot of fun reliving the days of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Joey Bishop, Peter Lawford, and Sammy Davis, Jr. It will be an evening of swingin’ songs, including “You’re Nobody ‘til Somebody Loves You”, and “Almost Like Being in Love”.  Add the wonderful accompaniment of musical director Greg Boatwright, and you’ve got an evening of singin’ and swingin’ not to be missed.

Singer, Jason Stokes, will return to his mother’s hometown of Latta where his mother, Claudia Greene and his Aunt Barbara Greene graduated from Latta High School.  Edith Greene, his grandmother, was Latta’s school nurse for many years.  Welcome home to Latta, Greene and Stokes families!

Because of the generous sponsorship of The Pack by CareSouth Carolina, there will be no charge to attend this event.  Please join us at the Ellis Performing Arts Center in Latta at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, for an adult fun-filled evening of singin’ and swingin’ with the Pack.
