For any student planning to participate in sports next school year, you may pick up a physical form from the front office.
Have you heard? Grease is the word! Grease: The School Version is coming to the EPAC April 25-27. Show times are Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26 at 6:30 and Saturday, April 27 at 3. Admission is $8 and tickets will be sold at the door. Come support your fellow Vikings. You’re the One That We Want – to see there!
FFA Monthly meeting will be this Wednesday 3:45-5:00. Clemson extension will be our guest speaker and bring their GAGA pit for our activity time.
The Dance Education students will present Summer Vibes next Thursday and Friday, May 2nd and 3rd. Come out and support your students and friends as they prepare us for summer break! Shows start at 6:30 pm and cost to attend is $5.00.
The 2024 Miss Viking Pageant will be held next Saturday evening, May 4th at 5:00 pm in the EPAC. Students who have signed up, Freshman and Sophomore practice will be Monday, April 29th after school in the EPAC from 3:45-5:00; Tuesday, April 30th will be practice after school for Juniors and Seniors from 3:45-5:00 and Wednesday, May 1st will be practice after school for all contestants from 3:45-5:30 in the EPAC. Please keep up with all the information that has been posted in Google Classroom. If you have any questions see Ms. Branham.
Varisty and Junior Varsity Cheer tryouts will be held the week of May 20th after school in the gym. Look for flyers around the schools to join the Viking Cheer Google Classroom page for all things cheer related!
The Google Classroom page is open for ANY female student in grades 6th - 11th to join that is interested in playing volleyball next year. This Google Classroom page is where female athletes will be notified about conditioning, physicals, tryout dates and all things volleyball related. Please see Coach Anderson, Marsh or Jordan for the code.
Seniors! Be sure to look at scholarships on the LHS counseling website. There are several due dates coming and more updates are occurring this weekend.
Would you like to share your memories with the LHS staff and students? The Shall Go staff asks all seniors to fill out the Senior Will and Testament Google Form on their Class Of page on Google Classroom. Their Will and Testaments will be printed in this year’s last issue of the school newspaper. Senior Will and Testaments are due by April 26th.
