The Shall Go articles are due to Mrs. Reynolds Monday, October 21. 

All writers for The Shall Go should plan to meet in the gym lobby at the beginning of lunch Tuesday, October 22 for their yearbook picture. 

Sign up for Student Body President, and Class Presidents and Vice-Presidents for grades 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th will be today and tomorrow.  Sign-up sheets will be in the Commons on the bulletin board.

The Band will compete in Lower State Saturday, October 19th at Westwood High School at 12:45 in Blythewood, SC.

Australia-bound participants will be selling Shuler's BBQ sandwiches at the Fall Festival, Saturday, October 19th. Stop by to pick up a great lunch and support LHS students!

IB Candidates are reminded that the Candidate Registration packet is due to Mrs. Berry by Monday, October 21st

Auditions for the play “Shrek, The Musical” will be Tuesday, October 22 and Wednesday, October 23 in the EPAC starting at 3:45.  See Mrs. Roberts or Mrs. Kopituk with questions!

Latta High School is partnering with the SC Governor’s School for Science and Math to offer TEAM UP, an advanced high school engineering program. Any 10th grade math and science honors student who is interested in taking advanced math, science and engineering courses through the Governor’s School while still enrolled at Latta High School can sign up for an information session on Monday, October 21st. See Mrs. Carmichael to sign up and receive an informational flyer. 

Any high school student interested participating in the Voice of Democracy Essay Competition should see Mrs. Carmichael for details.  The deadline to apply is October 31.

Yearbooks are now on sale for $70 through November 1.  Reserve one for $20 deposit.

The George Spradley Essay Scholarship Competition is now open.  The deadline for seniors to turn in essays about a family member that is serving or that has served in the military is October 31.  Please see Mrs. Carmichael for more information.
